The grand success of ‘Arundhati’ which released in January, 2009 gave a new lease of life to heroine oriented films in Telugu. Not only that, the film also gave Anushka one of the biggest hits in her career so far. Although, she hadn’t had a new release in 2010, she will soon be seen in a three films, ‘Panchakshari’, ‘Vedam’ in Telugu and ‘Singam’ in Tamil.
While ‘Singam’ where she’s acting with Surya is set to release mid-April, her first Telugu film release in 2010 is going to be ‘Panchakshari’. The film, which is yet another heroine oriented film, has finished the shooting. V.Samudra is directing this film. This is the second time that Samudra and Anushka are working together after ‘Mahanandi’ which released in 2005. Ramachandra Rao is producing the film on ‘Sai Ratna Creations’ banner. Akkineni Nagarjuna is presenting the film. Interestingly, Ramachandra Rao has been the personal make-up man of Nagarjuna for several years and he’s donning the producer’s hat for the first time.
Samarat is making his debut as a hero. Chinna is composing the music. The story of ‘Panchakshari’ has been kept under wraps; however, the film’s team has denied rumours that it’s inspired from ‘Arundhati’. The film’s audio will be launched in the first week of April and the film in the last week of the same month.
