After a brief hiatus from Telugu cinema, Sneha will soon be seen in a period film starring Nagarjuna. The film has been tentatively titled as Rajanna and it will be directed by noted writer, Vijayendra Prasad.
Nagarjuna’s upcoming film which is being directed by Veeru Potla is all set to release in December. D Siva Prasad Reddy is producing the film on Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. Anushka and Priyamani are the two heroines in the film. Anushka had earlier acted with Nagarjuna in Super and Don, while Priyamani did a cameo in Nagarjuna, Trisha starrer King.
The long wait for Pawan Kalyan's latest action film Komaram Puli is set to end soon. Directed by S J Suryah, the film has Pawan Kalyan and Nikesha Patel in lead roles. Singanamala Ramesh is producing the film and C Kalyan is the executive producer.

After the huge success of Simha, Bala Krishna seems to be keen on doing back to back films. Few months ago, he signed Dasari Narayana Rao’s 150th film as a director, Param Veera Chakra and the film was officially launched in June. In the mean time, although a new project with Puri Jagannadh was announced, it never went on floors. Now, he has signed a new film which will be directed by Parachuri Murali.
A day after noted producer, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao of Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films claimed that he has bought the Telugu dubbing rights of Endhiran, Sun Pictures has a different version of the story. Srinivasa Rao had said that he has bought the dubbing rights for a whopping sum of close to Rs 30 crores; however Sun Pictures has claimed that it hasn’t sold the rights to anyone as of now. This argument has brought the whole situation back to square one.
Rajnikanth, Aishwarya Rai starrer Endhiran has set a new record in Andhra Pradesh. Directed by Shankar, the film has been produced by Kalanithi Maran on Sun Pictures banner. After days of intense speculation about who would buy the Telugu rights, the story has had a happy ending. The theatrical rights for the Telugu version of the film titled Robo have been clinched by Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao of Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films for a whopping sum of Rs 30 crores.
The audio launch of Rajnikanth, Aishwarya Rai starrer Robo was held at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad on August 6. Directed by Shankar, the film has been produced by Kalanithi Maran on Sun Pictures banner. Chiranjeevi was the chief guest of the event and Mohan Babu too graced the event. Ramanaidu, Ramesh Prasad, Kajal, Rathnavelu, Anthony, Bharat, Suddala Ashok Teja, Bhuvanachandra, Vanamali were also present at the event. Aishwarya Rai was conspicuous by her absence.
Sheela has been signed for the upcoming Balakrishna’s film, Param Veera Chakra. Directed by Dasari Naryana Rao, the film is his 150th directorial venture. C Kalyan is producing the film. The film was announced soon after Balakrishna’s Simha turned out to be a summer blockbuster and it was launched on June 10 amidst much fanfare.
