Sheela has been signed for the upcoming Balakrishna’s film, Param Veera Chakra. Directed by Dasari Naryana Rao, the film is his 150th directorial venture. C Kalyan is producing the film. The film was announced soon after Balakrishna’s Simha turned out to be a summer blockbuster and it was launched on June 10 amidst much fanfare.
Ravi Teja’s forthcoming film Don Seenu has completed its post production and ready for release. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film has been produced by Venket on R R Movies Makers banner. Shriya Saran is making her comeback in Telugu movies after five long years.
Nagarjuna’s forthcoming film’s title has been finalized after much speculation. Recently Nagarjuna and producer Dil Raju launched a contest to select the best possible title for the film. The film has been titled Gaganam and it is being directed by Radha Mohan.
Over the past few days, Rajamouli has been running helter-skelter to ensure that there aren’t any last minute delays. Finally the movie was given a clean U certificate by the censor board. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda had initially planned to release the film with 250 prints, but the exhibitors and distributors forced the producer to release the film with 300 prints. A day before its release, there was huge demand from the distributors to increase the number of prints. Finally, the film released with 325 prints across 400 screens.
The audio launch of Ravi Teja, Shriya Saran starrer Don Seenu was held at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad on July 22. Gopichand Malineni has directed the film while Venkat has produced the film on R R Movie Makers banner.
Siddharth’s bilingual film titled 180 has begun shooting today in Hyderabad. Priya Anand and Nithya Menon play the lead roles in the film which will be directed by Jayendran Panchapakesan. The erstwhile ad film guru had made a film ‘Margazhi Ragam’ based on Carnatic concert which earned rave reviews. 180 is his first feature film and it is going to be produced by SPI Cinema Pvt. Ltd.
Seven months since his last film, Shambo Shiva Shambo, Ravi Teja’s latest film Don Seenu is soon in the offing. The audio launch of the film has been scheduled on July 22 in Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. Directed by Gopichand Mallineni, the film has been produced by Venkat on R R Movie Makers. Venkat had earlier produced Ravi Teja, Ileana starrer Kick. K Achi Reddy is presenting the film.
After the success of Ye Maya Chesave, Naga Chaitanya signed two films which have already been launched. The first of these two is an action comedy which will be directed by Ajay Bhuyan and produced by Sivaprasad Reddy on Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. The second one is a Geetha Arts film, which will be directed by Sukumar. The shooting of Ajay Bhuyan’s film has already commenced and the team came back from a 20 day long schedule from Bangkok earlier this month. Kajal is the lead heroine in this film.
The launch of Nagarjuna’s new film at the new office of Kamakshi Kala Movies production house was a hush-hush affair. The low key affair began at 9:30 AM and Nagarjuna, Akhil, Amala, Veeru Potla, Sarvesh Murari, Sivaprasad Reddy and Vishwacharan graced the event. Veeru Potla is going to direct this film and Sivaprasad Reddy is producing the film. Anushka and Priyamani are the lead heroines in the film.
