He is truly the man of the moment. Anyone who is even remotely familiar with Malayalam cinema will know Dulquer Salman’s illustrious lineage. Because he is, after all, the son of one of the doyens of Malayalam cinema - Mammootty! Thaapaana is a much-awaited film with the hit pair, director Johny Antony and Megastar Mammootty, coming together once again.
Charmme (Charmy Kaur) makes a comeback to Malayalam; she had earlier done Kaattuchembakam and Agathan.
Johny Antony, who made his debut as director with CID Moosa, and then made films like Kochiraajaavu and Inspector Garud, had earlier made two films with Mammootty – Thuruppugulaan and Pattanathil Bhootham.
