Actor-director-producer Sasikumar, whose next film Kidaari has been garnering attention, says that he was so impressed with the tunes that Darbuka Siva gave him for Kidaari that he didn’t change even a single track.
“Initially, I thought Siva had come to act in my film. It was only later that I realised that he was seeking an opportunity to score music. There was a delay of three months in shooting the film and Shiva had used that time to research and score music. An acquaintance of mine introduced me to him and insisted I listen to the numbers he had scored. He has given me seven tracks for this film and we did not change even one in it,” says Sasikumar.
Darbuka Siva says, ” I have been doing private albums and this is my first film. I had researched on Tamil folk music and that helped me score for this film.”
