The actor, in a statement, said, “Dear brothers, on the occasion of my film Kaththi Sandai releasing this December 23, I wish to share some information with you.
“A film is made and released through the efforts of several people. Some miscreants, through their detestable acts, make pirated versions of such a film and float them in the market.Such pirated CDs are procured by your employees without your knowledge and screen such films to passengers travelling in your buses. As a result of this act of theirs, several families depending on the film industry for their livelihoods are getting affected.
“You are aware that I have raised my voice against piracy before. This time, I wish to join hands with you and raise my voice. I therefore request you to issue instructions to your staff not to screen new films in your vehicles.”
