Talking to SouthScope, Lyca Creative Head Raju Mahalingam said, “Our film is likely to be completed by the year end. Therefore, we are planning to launch the first look of 2.0 in November in Mumbai. The dates haven’t been confirmed as yet but we are looking at a November launch.”
But why launch the first look in Mumbai and not in Chennai? Raju Mahalingam said,” It’s a pan India film and therefore we are looking to launch it in Mumbai.”
With news already coming in that actor Rajini will be working with Pa Ranjith next after the film, this confirmation from the producers of 2.0 gives credence to reports claiming that Rajini will begin work on Ranjith’s film either from December or early next year.
