The unit had to recently shoot a sequence in a grand cricket museum. The team therefore opted for a museum set. To give it a realistic look, they got some rare items to be kept in including bats and balls signed by leading cricketers.
Jonty, who visited the museum, was surprised by the efforts of the unit of Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam. He is believed to have conveyed his wishes to the whole team of Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam.
Talking about Jonty’s visit, J K Mahendra, who is playing a role in the film and who is also a former cricketer, said, “As a Ranji Trophy player, I felt really delighted to welcome Jonty Rhodes to our cricket museum. His hearty wishes to our unit is absolutely priceless. Jonty Rhodes is always curious to know about how a Tamil film has been created…And today, we have fulfilled his dream.”
