Reportedly, Mohanlal is said to be playing the role of a lifetime in this B Unnikrishnan film. He plays a suave police officer who has the foresight of a chess grandmaster. Like a chess pro, he has the knack of reading the minds of his opponents. It’s only once that fate plays spoilsport and he falters. “It’s a multi-dimensional character for Lal and is going to surprise his fans,” says the director.

It is his second film with the actor after the super hit Madambi. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Mohanlal essays the role of a top Government official in this fast paced suspense thriller. Industry sources say the actor has taken a record fee of more than 1.3 crores for the movie.
