Praise the Lord, a famous short story by noted Malayalam writer, Paul Zacharia will now be adapted for the celluloid, thanks to debutant director Shibu Gangadharan. The big news is that the adaptation will star none other than Mammootty in the lead role! Mammootty has a penchant for doing films and roles that are based on literary works. This is also not the first time he is playing a key role in a film based on Paul Zacharia’s literary work. He had won critical acclaim in 1993 for his portrayal of one of the pivotal characters in Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s Vidheyan, a story based on Zacharia’s Bhaskara Patelarum Ente Jeevithavum.
