Thaapaana

Thaapaana is a much-awaited film with the hit pair, director Johny Antony and Megastar Mammootty, coming together once again.

Charmme (Charmy Kaur) makes a comeback to Malayalam; she had earlier done Kaattuchembakam and Agathan.

Johny Antony, who made his debut as director with CID Moosa, and then made films like Kochiraajaavu and Inspector Garud, had earlier made two films with Mammootty – Thuruppugulaan and Pattanathil Bhootham. Johny’s last film was Masters, which brought together Prithviraj and ‘Subramaniapuram fame’ Sasikumar.

Thaapaana tells the story of Samson and Mallika, who are released from jail on the same day. Samson gets to know Mallika, and the story is about his journey into her past and present.
