Director-actor-producer Sasikumar is a man who keeps his word. The man, who made his debut with Subramaniapuram, produced, directed and acted in it. At the time of his debut, he announced that he would help 10 new talented directors make their debut in the film industry by producing their films.
Others might have forgotten his announcement, but Sasikumar is relentlessly working to keep his promise.
Yes, the director, whose next film Kidari is to hit screens this Friday, has been directed by another newcomer Prasad Murugesan.
Talking to SouthScope, Sasikumar said, “When I first began producing films, I said that I would want to introduce at least 10 new directors to the industry.First, I introduced director Pandiraj with Pasanga. Then, introduced director Prabhu. Soon after, I introduced Muthaiah followed by Socrates. Now, my next film to hit screens has also been directed by a first timer,Prasad Murugesan. After this, the film that I will be acting and producing will be by an assistant director Prakash. Out of the 10 directors that I promised to introduce, I have introduced six. I have four more directors to introduce.”
