RAM CHARAN TEJA IN A DUAL AVATAR
This combination was waiting to happen and has indeed come at the right time. For now, the movie is titled a ‘Ram Charan-Vinayak’ film, in which Ram Charan Teja will be seen in a dual role – a venture that has generated a lot of curiosity in the Telugu film industry.
Kajal Aggarwal is one of the two female leads, and Amala Paul’s name is being discussed for the second heroine. The movie was launched on November 11, 2011 amidst much fanfare with Ram Charan Teja’s mother, Surekha clapping the first scene. Till date, a few breathtaking action sequences have been canned in various parts of Hyderabad. Some of the visual effects of the night fighting sequences are supposed to be stunning.
The shooting was on in full swing in various parts of Andhra Pradesh during February. Ram Charan is paired with Kajal Aggarwal again after Magadheera, and his hyperactive fans are already on imagination overdrive mode, waiting to watch them together again!
Having directed almost all the A-list actors in Telugu, VV Vinayak has now roped in Ram Charan. This film with Ram Charan will be a thriller with plenty of action. According to sources, the star actor has trained for several days for the stunt sequences and has performed a few dare-devil stunts on his own. “The fight sequences were shot in the night, which made them even more dangerous. But Ram Charan executed them flawlessly, with his signature style and without a hitch,” a member of the production unit beams proudly.
But unfortunately, the shooting had to be suspended for three weeks as Ram Charan was injured in the fight sequence of his other film, Racha, which was under production then. Consequently, the shooting of this untitled venture has been pushed further.
Thaman has composed the music with a focus on romantic songs, featuring the two female leads. Vinayak intends to complete shooting the solo portions of Ram Charan, and then start the schedule with Kajal. The final part of the schedule will feature Ram Charan and the second female lead.
The director and producer intend to announce the title of the movie sometime in May depending on the progress of the shooting. Needless to say, we are all ears and waiting…
