RaNa signs Selvaraghavan’s trilingual film
RaNa Daggubati, one of the new scions of Telugu Film Industry, is going places within days of making his debut in Shekar Kammula’s ‘Leader’. The debutant actor, who impressed one and all with his commanding screen presence in ‘Leader’, has agreed to star in a trilingual film to be directed by Selvaraghavan.
The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. G V Prakash will compose the music. Selvaraghavan’s recent film ‘Aayirithil Oruvan’ had broken conventions in South Indian Cinema in terms of the concept and visualization. With Selvaraghavan at the helm of affairs and RaNa in lead role, this new project is definitely going to be the newsmaker in the coming few months.
RaNa is currently acting in Rohan Sippy’s ‘Dum Maro Dum’, which also has Abhishek Bachchan, Pratik Babbar and Bipasha Basu in lead roles. The film which is set in Goa is said to be loosely inspired from a Hollywood film ‘Traffic’. On the other hand, ace director Selvaraghavan is directing a Tamil film tentatively titled ‘Sindubad’ starring Vikram and Swathi. This untitled trilingual film is expected to go on floors later this year.
