Sada signs another Kannada film

Sada seems to have struck the right chord in her second innings down south. She had made her debut in a Telugu film titled ‘Jayam’ and later went on to star in Shankar’s ‘Anniyan’ which was a blockbuster. She had made her debut in a Telugu film titled ‘Jayam’ and later went on to star in Shankar’s ‘Anniyan’ which was a blockbuster. However, none of her films after ‘Anniyan’ managed to break the mould at the box office and set cash registers ringing. After acting in few Hindi movies like ‘Khalbali’ and ‘Click’, she has already got couple of offers from Kannada film industry and one from Tamil film industry. She has been roped in as the lead actress in Shivarajkumar’s 99th film titled ‘Mailari’ which will be directed by R.Chandru. The film is already being filmed and is set to release later this year. The latest news is that Sada has signed another Kannada project tentatively titled ‘Tuntaa Tunti’, a teenage love story to be directed by Indrajit Lankesh. Sameer Dattani, who is known as Dhyaan in Kannada films, has been roped in to play the male lead of Tuntaa Tunti. This is the second time that Sada and Sameer are going to act in a Indrajit Lankesh’s film. The pair was earlier seen in Indrajit’s movie Mona Lisa.

Apart from these two Kannada films, she has also signed a P.Vasu’s Tamil film titled ‘Puli Vesham’ which will go on floors later year.
