The producers of actor Vijay’s upcoming film Bairavaa have issued a statement on why they chose to cancel an event through which they had planned to launch the film’s audio in a grand fashion.
Producers B Venkatrama Reddy and B Bharathi Reddy said that they had planned a grand audio launch. However, they called off the event after the loss of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, which was totally unexpected.
The producers recalled the fact that the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had at one point acted in Nam Naadu, a film that had been produced by their firm.
“We have considered her a member of our family and have respected her. We decided to cancel our audio launch event in the wake of her demise. Actor Vijay too, as a mark of respect for her, has requested us not to launch the audio in a grand fashion. Therefore, we intend to launch the audio of the film in a simple fashion on December 23,” they said.
